MESSA is bringing the old-fashioned house call into the 21st century. In an effort to help our members stay safe at home while still getting the medical care they need, MESSA is fully covering all online and telehealth visits 100% for our members and covered dependents through Dec. 31, 2020.

Here are the details:

Online Visits

MESSA members have easy access to Online Visits, where you can visit a doctor or a therapist without leaving your home using a smartphone, tablet or computer. To get started with Online Visits for medical or mental health care, go to messa.org/onlinevisits or download the Blue Cross Online Visits app.

Telehealth with your current provider

MESSA also will fully cover medical and mental health appointments with your current in-network medical provider or therapist if they are conducted over the phone or online.

For both of these options, you will not be responsible for paying a deductible, copayment or coinsurance. The visits are covered 100% under your MESSA medical plan.

Please note that it’s possible your provider may request payment upfront, but rest assured that you will automatically reimbursed at a later date.
