MESSA field representatives
We’re here for you
MESSA’s local field representatives provide personal service to members and employers. We can consult with groups during the collective bargaining process, attend association meetings, explain MESSA plan options, help members with claim questions, and speak with employee groups to provide detailed analyses to help members make the best choices.
RaeAnn Loy has been a MESSA field representative since 2014. Her area includes Alger, Baraga, Delta, Dickinson, Gogebic, Houghton, Iron, Keweenaw, Marquette, Menominee, Ontonagon and Schoolcraft counties.
Matt Zimmerman has been a MESSA field representative since 2016. His area includes Clare, Gladwin, Isabella, Lake, Mecosta and Osceola counties.
Viola Collin has been a MESSA field representative since 2016. Her area includes Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee and Wexford counties.
Abby Zarimba has worked at MESSA since 2015 and became a field representative in 2017. Her area includes Clinton, Gratiot, Ionia, Montcalm and Saginaw counties.
Jacqueline Mast has worked at MESSA since 2013 and became a field representative in 2015. Her area includes Mason, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana and Ottawa counties.
Reneé Szurna has been a MESSA field representative since 2014. Her area includes Allegan and Kent counties.
Tara Wilbur has been a MESSA field representative since 2015. Her area includes Barry, Branch, Calhoun, Eaton and Hillsdale counties.
Julie Berryman Adams has been a MESSA field representative since 2008. Her area includes Ingham, Jackson and Lenawee counties.
Monica McKay has worked at MESSA since 2005 and became a field representative in 2012. Her territory includes Livingston, Monroe and Washtenaw counties.
Mark Middlewood has been a MESSA field representative since 2015. His area is Oakland County.
Andrew Lavendusky has worked at MESSA since 2010 and became a MESSA field representative in 2014. His area is Wayne County.
Heather Scott has been a MESSA field representative since 2010. Her area includes Macomb and St. Clair counties.
Kirk Ozanich has worked at MESSA since 2008 and became a field representative in 2018. His area includes Genesee, Lapeer and Shiawassee counties.
Rahshaan Watson has worked at MESSA since 1996 and became a field representative in 2022. Her area includes Bay, Huron, Midland, Sanilac and Tuscola counties.
Jake Louks became a MESSA field representative in 2023. His area includes Alcona, Alpena, Arenac, Cheboygan, Chippewa, Crawford, Iosco, Luce, Mackinaw, Montmorency, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Otsego, Presque Isle and Roscommon counties.
Jim Gleason became a MESSA Field Representative in 2024. His area includes Berrien, Cass, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph, and Van Buren counties.
