You can check whether a medication is covered under your current plan in your Optum Rx portal. Here’s how:

Prescription plan changes
MESSA is retiring two prescription plans this year — ABC Rx and Saver Rx. Take the time to review your current benefits so you understand what’s changing and whether it affects you. If you have either plan, you’ll have to choose a different prescription plan.

Coverage depends on which plan you choose. MESSA has a variety of plans to fit your needs and your budget. Plan availability is subject to collective bargaining.
Open enrollment is held once a year. After open enrollment closes, you cannot change your benefit selections until the next OE period unless you experience a qualifying event, such as marriage, birth, your spouse losing coverage from another insurer or other limited instances.
