Check your MyMESSA account for letters requested by your auto insurance carrier

If your auto insurance carrier requests a letter verifying that you have health care coverage, you can find what you need in your MyMESSA member account.

Log in your account, select “Benefits” and scrols down to “Additional resources.” There you’ll find two letters:

1. Notice of qualified health coverage for auto personal injury protection (PIP) benefits. This letter confirms that your MESSA health plan meets state-mandated requirements to allow you to customize your PIP benefits.

2. Coordination of medical benefits form for auto insurance. This letter confirms that MESSA members and covered dependents have coverage under a MESSA health plan, and acknowledges MESSA will be the primary payer of medical benefits as long as the member maintains a coordinated no-fault auto policy.
