MESSA members and their covered dependents can now connect with our member service specialists through online chat during our regular business hours — 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.
For members, simply log into your MyMESSA member portal and click the chat icon in the bottom-right corner of your screen to get started.
For adult dependents, navigate your way to messa.org/livechat. For security purposes, dependents will be asked to provide the last four digits of their Social Security number, as well as the full name, employer and birth date of the primary MESSA member. Dependents must be 18 or older to use online chat.
We’re happy to roll out another way for our members to get the unmatched personal service that you deserve and have come to expect from MESSA. And don’t worry — our East Lansing-based Member Service Center is still here to take your calls. You can call us at 800.336.0013.
